The Endless Stay

Pills that are swallowed…

That feel like shards in my throat.

Every step leads me endlessly inward.

As if this nightmare is imploding.

All I can muster are wavering steps.

Until the meds paralyze me for the night.

Sad lines penned but it is the state of so many people today and some don't even have the pills. Thanks for sharing. I hope not your life but just a work about the subject of mental illness. Sara
