The Ending of Caprice
When summer days have run their pace
I'll travel homeward bound...again
To savor grasses' charmed embrace
To taste the herbs, and roam our lane;
Where oaks...heavy with June flowers
Nestle on fields while north breeze sighs
Tides lapping unto long hours
Till sunsets glow on rosy skies:
A town caressed by winding isles
Regaling the shores...I'l sashay
With seagulls dancing in freestyles
Towards the reeds at close of day
