The End of Innocence
silk panties abandoned at the bedside
their presence proving to be a nuisance
phantom traces of a guilty secret
sounds of rustling linens, disturbed silence
a rite of passage struggles to unfold
nervous fresh ripe thighs, sweaty to the touch
disappearing, sweet childhood memories
innocence recklessly lost, only once
rising between them, pure lust and passion
regretful thoughts foolishly cast aside
devil's sin resonates with harmony
this appetite for desire can't be fought
embarrassed parting with an awkward kiss
I love you, never whispered, never missed
