This is a picture of a Bobcat and domesticated cat mixed..At the pounds they said Tom-Pierre is a Bobcat and house cat mix..He looked just like this cat ..I guess they will put him to sleep..Sara

The sun rises unseen, hidden A caged cat cries a sad howl With the incinerator fired On a cloudy day so foul While the fowls of the air fly high Enjoying the cool morn Song birds sing a good-bye tune Tom-Pierre his fate mourns Tom-Pierre...a stray male cat

Hi Sara, It's so sad this has to be his fate. I adore cats, don't have one at the moment. But we had several cats when I was a kid. Well done-7:-) Alexis

This is so sad, Sara. I hate the thought of innocent animals being killed because no one wants them. Your poem expresses that sadness well. Blessings!

Very sad Mrs Sara. I'm not a cat person but I don't believe in killing animals either. I really like the fact the are raising awareness to the plight of helpless animals.

Daniel, It was very upsetting for me to learn when I went to the pounds that they incinerate the animal remains after they have been put down..I know that they can't keep all the animals and I can't go get all of them either for I only can have so many but it is sad..Sara
