The End
The world didn’t come to an end again the other day,
I should keep track of how many times there’s been an unforeseen delay.
The guy who said that it would end seemed so sincere,
And even if I didn’t follow his logic to him it seemed so clear.
And the people who follow him closely sold off all their stuff,
I guess that heir faith in him must not have been enough.
As for me it really threw off my plans for that coming week,
I hadn’t bothered to make any plans because it seemed rather bleak.
How could I possibly plan ahead if I didn’t know if I’d made the cut?
What if I’d been left behind and Heaven’s doors had all been shut?
I hear that there’s a chance that it will end again next year,
We’ll have to see if it comes true but that’s the story I hear.
