The Emptiness Felt Inside
The emptiness felt inside remains that morbid and lugubrious void
and it's different from the one shown outside, not allowing tears
or sorrow of any kind to become a silent cry only heard
by that one stumbling upon the revelation of pitiful emotions
not echoed as a free voice vibrating with exciting moods,
but resembles a butterfly that lands on jasmines and roses sipping
the aromatic pollen to make more flowers grow in lively spring!
The emptiness felt inside creates an unwillingness
to emerge from the allusive perception of confinement,
of ever being free again and breathe contentment;
more courage is needed to break down those walls
of isolation and joyfully run where sunshine reigns,
where one believes that being happy is everybody's right!
The emptiness felt inside robs everyone of that sacredness
given to us by the Creator Himself; it's a promise that holds
joy and eradicates despair from thoughts unable of liberating themselves;
whenever we are caught in a terrifying storm, we should rely on prayers!
The emptiness felt inside is the forethought of unpleasantness,
of bitterness never tasted confronting life by ourselves,
and being fortified by hope it can help us face more unexpected challenges;
if roads are long and travails are hard, we mustn't give in to hopelessness!
