The Ebbing of the Tide

I think of him when ebbing of the tide
But not really him but what I thought was
Him, I was in love with love now wave ride
Waiting for tide's return bringing love as 'twas

Love is gone on the waning of the moon
The marsh is bone dry not even trickle
No boats can leave docks, with nature commune
While waiting tide's return friend, foe, obstacles

Maybe tide will come rushing carrying
Amore' or romance's spirit upon
Its whitecaps like the knight in armour shining
Who rides from his white horse the battle done_

Man will fail in his life's undertakings
Where man fails, God's love constant abiding

A sad story of disappointment. Great write, but whoever may leave us we do have God to rely on.

Sara, how are you this lovely afternoon?? Some limits should never be pushed, or pulled away from. I feel the intensity drawing you closer, with all the community also waiting for loved ones. Your ending line in your poem has a very uplifting feeling to it. I feel very welcomed to read your poem today. Thank you for sharing...pd
