The Early Morning Fog

The early morning fog thickened
as we climbed up the great mountain
one could barely see their own hand
but the air was pleasantly cool
The walk was slow for fear of pits,
snakes, scorpions, wild animals
After a while, we saw sunlight
beautiful thick fog was below

I live in a city that gets fog often, and you don't have to climb a mountain to be in the middle of it! Very good imagery here. Well done.

One time I stood inside fog and then above it this way. It was at the Jesus statue in Rio. This reminded me of that. Congrats
