The Duality of Man

The duality of man, oh what a sight

A puzzle so complex, so full of might

On one hand, we are strong and brave

On the other, we are weak and craven

We can love with all our heart

But also with hate we can start

A fire within that never dies

And consumes us with burning lies

We can rise to greatness, or fall to despair

The choice is ours, but be aware

The duality of man is a perilous thing It can lift us up, or make us sing

A song of sorrow, a cry of pain

Or a melody of joy, that can never wane

The duality of man is a curious thing

It can make us soar, or make us sing.

I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
