the drums were silent first time in many moons little bear woke with a start harvest moon winked brother stars giggled laughing brook gurgled a movement in the bushes little bear listened hard but the drums were silent was grandpa okay? daylight would bring answers

Excellent Caren. I too always rooted for the Indians in the westerns of old. Ya know what.. I'd still root for them.

I always feel so disappointed when they lose. We gave them blankets with small pox in them? Shame on us!

It is bitterly sad. I was always rooting for the Indians in the TV shows of the 50s. I never saw them win until the 80 TV shows though.
