The Dress

I saw a glimpse of her wedding dress, she stepped barefoot on the shore grass. The sea roared like at Venus’s birthday, Milky foam covered the wave’s way. A cherub flew between us with haste. The whirlwind playing around her waist Lifted his lost feathers, round like a bell, Her face rosy, her gaze blazed and fell, She saw me spying and from above Shadows came dressing her with love, Raindrops covered her youthful face, Blessing us against a vile disgrace: A wedding dress remains a mystery, even if in a foreshadowing reverie.
