The Dream
The other night I dreamed I saw you walking in a big green meadow.
You were happier than I ever remember.
Beside you was a man who wore a long white robe.
His face had a loving and gentle smile, his hair solid white and his eyes were
deep as amber.
He had his arm draped over your shoulder, yet he seemed to make no burden.
The way you were at ease with him, I thought I saw a tear amongst your laughter.
It was then that you noticed me watching you as you wiped the tear away.
You held out your arms as if waiting for me to walk into them.
When I reached you we embraced each other.
That's when the stranger said, Welcome Home
