The Dream

You walk into my dreams and take my hand,
You take me to a land I’ve never been.

You say with your eyes things in your heart,
I say with my mouth the thoughts on my mind.

We sit under a tree with the stars so bright,
And listen to the song of a nightingale singing.

The moon’s light shines in your hair,
I say the words you wish to hear;
And I promise always to be near.
