The Dragon of Haute-Savoie Is Flying

The dragon of Haute-Savoie is flying while shimmering into the night with silvery scales reflecting the moon - a most welcome marvelous sight. Higher he’s soaring as if his stretched wings are touching the stars of the sky. The stars seem to nod, twinkling approval. Oh, dragon, our saviour, fly high! Fly with your knight whose armor shines brightly. Oh, dragon and knight we adore, fill us with awe to see you both soaring. Do shine on for us evermore! I love what you've done with this one, linking into Eve's poem! Did fancy having a go myself, but a bit "all dragoned out" after my previous entry :) Will see if inspiration strikes over the next few days! Good luck! Regards, John.

I just recently watched "How to Train Your Dragon" and this one caught my eye, Andrea. I am not sure how to pronounce it but I really enjoyed the cadence as I read this --- I really like how you made the dragon scales reflect the moonlight. I hope this wins, sweetie pie!
