The Diversity of Thought

Dancing lights in
Every color
Float across my
Mind, forging
Themselves into scenes
Of phantom
Beauty, spun of
The stuff
Of day dreams.

  Drifting thoughts
Catch my attention,
And disappear
Before I can
Grasp them,
Fading into the
Dark and
Unending abyss of
My mind.

  Pieces of broken
Glass prod
My tired mind,
And work
Their way down
To lodge
Themselves in the
Remains of
My broken heart.

Thanks. I was a little worried when this one didn't create much enthusiasm in my siblings. I think they worry for my sanity. It's way to late for that anyhow. I jumped over the edge ages ago :)
