The Distant Light
Sadness takes its cheerles flight again
As these tears I try to fight again
Its hard to even comprehend
If things will become right again
Time will heal the heart's sorrow
Until then, pain becomes my plight again
Cherished memories I hold dear
Waiting for the dawn to shine bright again
Finding comfort in the scriptures
Its truth will bring the light again
