"the Disadvantaged"

Handicaps are behind the 8 ball when it comes to respect,
constantly ignored and treated like society's rejects,
People have lost heart and compassion,
and no one objects,
when mean-spirited citizens seek to deprive a disabled person
of their independence to roam,
Their perception of self has to be a pillar of stone,
It always seems easy to bully the weakest among us,
and other encourage silently because they do not
make a ruckus,
But, there is a saving grace.....,
God sees and knows,
and when the time is right,
The evil doers will be put in their place.
