The Dik-Dik is an antelope
Who longs to be a misanthrope
But since he “pronks”, instead of lopes,
He doesn’t really have a hope …
* “Pronk” is the name of the dik-dik’s jaunty little bounce when he runs.
It is an Afrikaans description.
