The Difference

A kitten with a delicate face tiny, bright, and playful formed a bond with my little granddaughter . She blossomed into adulthood becoming a fair mother within a short period of months but died in an accident. I wondered and felt pain, 'What a stark difference between our lives !' Her life was short, and we have a long journey to go. But in that brief moment of our shared life , our souls connected beyond time's divide.

This is so heartfelt and poignant dear akham, its never easy losing a pet and yes their lives are so short, youve expressed so well here and written one that readers could feel so strongly. Pleasure reading you today. Sending you light always

Hello Aqkham, You should bve proud of yourself to give this kitten a home. We get attached to our pets when they are sick, of run over by a car, we miss them. Because they have become part of our family. Enjoy your weekend. /Darene/

Wow! Deep and meaningful introspection. Maybe it is less about time, and more about sentiment? Eternal feelings. Like to think that, when I am at the Pearly Gate, there will be a couple of kittens rounding Peter's legs meowing, let him in -- he was good to us.

Hi! I am almost 87 and I have had 20 or 25 caps in my lifetime. I can’t imagine life without a cat. They bring much peace and joy to you and they never hurt you. Only people are really good at that one. I think far more dangerous than a cat. Don’t believe me see what happened in New Orleans this week.!! I am facing this poem. It simply beautiful.. Pangie xx
