The Derided Inventor

An independent inventor, Stanley Meyer Delved into his innate cauldron of genius Thought ingenuously out-of-the-box He’d revolutionize the automobile industry. He claimed to have designed an engine That he designated as the water fuel cell Using the established principle of electrolysis Of water making hydrogen, burnt to generate energy. Although the concept in theory seemed feasible Meyer couldn’t demonstrate that it really worked Skeptics branded the claim pseudoscience and fraudulent So, water as an engine fuel remained a myth. Meyer’s innovative design interested some investors His effort and idea upset the influential oil companies It’s unclear if his untimely unusual death was connived Or he actually succumbed to cerebral aneurysm. Meyer failed to give the world unlimited supply of fuel But he survives in mystery as a derided inventor. _____________ June 9, 2022 Contest : Life, Death And Aims Of Stanley Meyer Sponsored by : Joe Maverick
