The Departed
Did you lie to me before departing?
wake up from your beds of clay
talk to me frankly today if alive
I want to hear answers
You sired me and went away quickly
our land is taken by visitors we know not
but you are all gone hiding and idle
I want to hear answers
We go to wars to defend our land
your grandchildren are cut down as grass
We invoke your names in vain
I want to hear answers
We venerate Living Dead in Africa
Without support our land is gone
Living Dead where are you?
I want to hear answers
