The Deft and the Dumb

Teacher once said to the young pupil, "Why are you always struggling? You don't even know how to read and write. The whole school year is almost over... what do your parents do?" The pupil replied, "I was not born perfect, but I don't cheat. I read and write and make everything out of my own mind." The teacher continued, "You better stop writing if you can't do better in a writing class!" "Someday, I will learn how to read and write better..." The pupil respectfully bade farewell to the teacher and walked away.
