The Defiance of Time

Please note, The great question is asked. One man in loving embrace Standing very still As the echoes of grace Send a glacial chill With infinite time and space And should he dare To live his life Or face the glare Of questions rife When thoughts compare? Should living suffice, In the brevity of indulgence Will he live twice Devoid of arrogance In paradise. And in this moment, divine Which of beauty makes a mess, Within this holy shrine We can witness The defiance of time.
