The Decisive Moment

You've been together, Near two hours now, You've played your favorite song, Your conversation a bit suggestive, But you confidence is not as strong, You sense the moment is right, Her gaze at you seems to give hope, But if you're rejected for this kiss, You know you'll feel a dope... Years of experience tells you the time is right, But what if you are wrong? To hell with it, you take your chance, You draw her into your arms, Seems she's receptive, Having fallen for your uncertain charms, Ah!, the kiss! it turns out splendidly, She's more eager than you thought... The evening opens to more splendors, Than you'd dare have sought, Thus a night becomes a lifetime etched wonder, One you'll never forget, Until the day you find her with your cousin, A night more memorable, you can bet!!
