The Dead Part of Me

They told me to steer clear

They told me to get free

They don't understand

What's eating at me

They told me to not do it

They told me I'd go down

But I didn't listen

Because I know that

There will never be

A clean way out.

I tried to overcome

What they made me do

But when I see what I'd become

I'm nobody's fool!

I'm sorry that I am

What I am you see

You see the dead part of me

Will never let me free............
