The Day Unfolds
As light enters the world this morning
And the sun smiles upon the awaking flowers
Sound, as well, invigorates the soul and mind
As the day opens itself to us all.
Alive in the presence of such grandeur and beauty
I cannot fathom ever not witnessing the unveiling
Of the day as it was intended by the giver
He who created it with us all in mind.
Let each new day arrive with a smile
Just as the sea meets the sand, with force and beauty
So should the day meet our eyes and ears
Making its way into our hearts for eternity.
