The Day the Running Stopped- a Bio

The tennis rackett beat down upon him
The boy just two years old
The stage was set for madness
Where the nights were dark and cold

Early memories suppressed for ages
Beneath the damage done
But an instinct built within him
Told him when to run

The road became his freedom
He packed up his scars and pain
But whereever he would lay his head
They would visit him again

Love never really found him
His heart bled too much to share
No one took time to really know him
No one really cared

One day he sought to end the mayhem
That ravaged in his brain
But God took the bullet from his hand
And relieved him from the pain

The monsters no longer haunt him
The scars have faded over time
Love finally made it to his doorstep
Now his light can truly shine.

Hope exists for those who seek it
No matter what burden they bare
Theres a God who wont forsake them
A God who is always there.

Carl, it sounds like you had a very bad childhood and I am glad you have escaped it. A good bio poem for us to know more about you.
