The Day I Met You

Never in my life would I think
  I’d find someone like you.
  How could I have been so blessed with 
   Someone as  kind and devoted as you.
   You looked into my soul and saw
   The pain and tears I tried to hide
   You gently took my hand and slowly together
   We face them with you by my side.
   Through all these years I kept these memories deep  
    In my soul,
    And after a this time I realize 
   You are what I have been searching for.
    If I should leave this earth tomorrow
    One thing I know is  true.
    I  found the true love of my life 
    The day I met you
