The Day I Leave

The Day I Leave The day I leave, I will go quiet. no one will be there to say the last goodbye. When I came here - I came alone and that's the way that I will go. The day I leave, I don't want tears. I am not dying just moving on. You won't see me - yet I'll be there, until I go to my resting place. When I have gone - please celebrate, because I will be in a better place. Life won't stop because I left - it will go on and that's a fact. Continue your life and live it well, for once it's gone there is no spare. One day your life will end without any notice. Like the tick of a clock - your heart will stop....

A very touching poem. I am impressed by your sensibility. After all life of this world is nothing compared to the quality in the hereafter. If only people understood it they would not indulge in pursuing shadows. Thanks Lucilla for visiting my poem All for you and for your kind appreciation. Love. -Mohammad

May our last goodbye be heartfelt. So you will know you will be truly missed and loved. As you walk quietly down the golden path. I'm going to have to Fav this one. Words of the heart once again.. :*)

I think that's part of the true meaning of life: Accepting & embracing death. The one thing many are so afraid of...for good reasons, of course. But, you embrace it. It's sad, but there is an inner peace that one achieves that mentality. I'll leave it at this. This is a very deep one for me. Excellent job!

My dear sweet Lucilla...this is a beautiful sad piece full of truth that we don't wish to think about. I often think of how it will all end. In fact, I used to be obsessed with thoughts of death...I'm better now, but it still haunts. God is good...and He knows when to let our hearts rest. Love you. Thank you for your encouraging comments and visits. Hugs
