The Day After

The Day After The blue ocean frolicked ‘neath a spring sunlight, Musically slapping and making smiles of waves, Portending of one cosmic roar, then still. It flattened with tears beneath its surface, Lashing and lonely in a new day’s dawn. Its building and splashing and yesterday’s jolly day Gone, past, gone.

I guess without the down days the good ones wouldn't seem so bright! Very well written and descriptive! I like the making smiles of waves and with tears beneath it's surface!!
