Man's Darkest Hour IS God's Hour of Power - YouTube

The darkest hour comes with pain that's insane, Excruciating, unrelenting pain. The sobbing and gasping are so abrupt. The heart is broken; the body gives up. The darkest hour tries to take control, Searching through the suffering for the soul. Disillusioning evil tells a lie. “Death will set you free, so let yourself die.” Numbness begins to smother the feeling. The chaos of your mind sends you reeling. In time you know there must be a reason To continue at least for a season. Looking deep within, you search for the light, A seed of love to help you through the night.

Bill, thank you for your honesty, this life can be so horrid sometimes and emotions can spiral to depths. Thank you for penning truth and hope of light in the darkness. Sometimes it takes its toll, praise God, He will never leave us nor forsake us and leads through the darkest of the nights.

Lord knows I don't deserve the guidance and Love I've been given. I'm so blessed to still be alive and thankful to God for his protection and healing. Smiles ~ Blessings, Bill

darkness is but a thought spiral, a bubble of thought nurtured that bursts noiselessly in the void, when nonchalance winks and we firm our resolve to evolve, in the domain of God’s boundless love and light.

Sounds a little like the post I am about to send. Constant pain must be horrible, my dad was a victim. I hope this is not you Bill, maybe just someone you know, or merely a poem of fantasy, and not true, just how you would think of pain. Blessings my friend Jennifer.

It is clear by your poem you know what it is to be down. The picture you have paired with your poem makes it clear you know that God Himself is offering the light. You have done a pretty good job of hinting at that in your last two lines.
