It is also an allusion to any endangered element basically important to protect our cultural or spiritual integrity...So, it can be about the precious 'lemur" inside your self that someone wants to steal or kill or whatsoever...

The malagasy language belongs to the malayo-polynesian family; we have a national language but a lot of dialects in the different regions. Officially 18 for administrative purpose; but in fact, they are much more numeroust! I'll try to present some literary forms, next time! Thanks a lot for showing interest! Among the lzmurs, the "propithèque' (Propithecus verreauxi) is a very special one, known for his elegant leapsand "dances"; hence, his surname as "dancing lemur".
