The Dance
In the dark by a streetlamp, I dance for the light.
I dance with awe into the Moon-lit night.
I dance with the inspiration of spring's beautiful delights.
I dance with the smell of roses and flowers of life.
I dance with a singing spirit in my heart.
I dance in the wonder of life with a new start.
I dance to a host of warm smiles from beautiful, loved ones.
I dance into a cool summer breeze that warms my old bones.
I dance with joy for my lovely soul mate.
I dance for my heavenly father with whom I have faith.
I dance for the purity of love that my soul has been filled.
I dance against all sorrow and hate with my sheer will.
For my dance will never end; it's who I am.
