The Cursing Mirror

Mirror, Mirror, I beseech you!
Have you nothing good to say?
You've called me out on every flaw,
You've told me I am feeble.
I know we all need to be humble
But your curses are unreasonable.
Tell me something good and true,
The best ways to advance...
I refuse to be the failure you see
Before I've even had a chance!

Dang cheap glass -- I cover all mine, broke most of them 7 years ago, still standing. Mirrors only know what we show them...and not the depth inside. Fine read. Enjoyed very much.

Thanks Joe. Was trying to think outside the box a bit. Plus the challenge reminded me of the "mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" ... lol. :-D
