The Curse Holds True
THE CURSE HOLDS…
So today I crossed paths with a serpent
In fact not me but my sibling
She was scared out of her wits by it
So me she summoned to face the enemy
With diligence of one summoned to a Biblical duty I responded
After all Jonah was punished for evading such a calling
I shudder at the thought of four days in the bowels of a fish
Armed with a stick and backed by my sibling’s tidings
I approach the corner
Where the enemy lays coiled
Startled at my approach it brings out its head
Then the words of the Holy book come to my mind
That off springs of the woman shall crush the heads of the serpents’ off springs
So I did my part, I crushed the head
The curse indeed holds true...
Hope I shall crush the heads without my heel being bitten
The curse holds true.
