The Crazy Man

I am the crazy man
I do my best to do what I can
to see all that lies at my hand
and by process I see myself damned
But to live the life of man so crazy such as I
will set you free and yet leave you tied
      Follow will you forever on
the reality you create so that dream may live on
But one hour you fear you may wake
and your innocence the world will take
your fantasy reality will be gone
as you hear the toll of wake's song
death of some sort will turn on
   to become a new song
how many songs musts we learn
before we no longer must yearn
to feel complete and feel life's sweet
instead of bitter being all I meet
welcome mind of crazy man
where sanity is not at hand
      only truth is in demand
