The Conscious Element
Love of nature for earth shines
during the splendid springtime.
Very rare happiness takes birth.
Like an Indian bride decks earth.
Spring is the love of the nature.
Images of bliss, flowers appear.
In the glittering seasons of rain
vanishes sun burnt earth's pain.
Megh Malhaar(1) the breeze sings
And the nimbus' cloud’s rolling
reminds of performance rhythmic.
Nature produces heavenly music.
Sounds of a lovely rainy shower
remind of the melody of a sitaar(2)
But nature is not just rose petal.
It is also a tempest most terrible.
When the earth shivers in fever
destruction happens everywhere.
Deadlier than oppressor's army
is the onslaught of the tsunami.
Natural forces extremely great
shake courage of men ultimate.
Then, in humility join hands two
and piously pray to parent true.
Then Supreme one, grants mercy
and reestablishes lost harmony.
Without that conscious element
nature is just a force vehement.
That is nature's bliss and beauty.
Without that reigns chaos, only.
1 Megh Malhaar is a symphony in Hindustani Classical Music for the rainy
season.
2 Sitaar is a famous stringed musical instrument of Indian Subcontinent
