The Connection

The Connection

I lay
On the ground
I feel the breeze
Watch the trees
They wave to me
I wave back
I say “Hello”

I see
The blue sky
A cloud drifts by
Soft and white
It winks at me
I wink back
I say “Hello”

I hear
The water on the rocks
I know it clear and cool
The ducks are cruising buy
They quack at me
I quack back
I say “Hello”

I feel
The sun
It is bright and warm
It makes me blush
It peaks at me
I peak back
I say “Hello”

I want
To stay here
I feel lazy
I hear someone
They sneak up
I stay very still
I say “Hello”

2nd reading. Let me just say hello. Lying there and enjoying nature is the greatest feeling in life next to love. Combine the two and you have Euphoria. :-)

You are certainly one with nature. You have an innocence in your words that brings that out. Nothing could be more delightful. Keep on putting it into word.

A fun write, with a serious side to it. It is good to simply be quiet and still sometimes...whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the natural world around us.
