The Comforting Cross

I alighted at the feet of the Cross and laid down my luggage of loss. Sin used to sting my peace within: God has given the wisdom to war and win. The pleasure of sin held me down; the pain of its wages made me frown. God saved me, and now I am whole; Great is the God who saved my soul.
