The Colours of Love

I knew a boy who loves the sunset; He smiled as we watched the day end, he said "do you like what you see?" I did, the beauty was alluring. He radiated the colour blue peaceful and comforting; Yet it made me quiver for I longed for something new. But as it does the infatuation dimmed; The faded blue left me unmoved. The days were boring but I dare not regret the life I've chosen for the spark of a moment. I remember red and the mad that loved me, his eyes glistening from the pain I've caused him; He is not here but i hear him calling "If you are ready, come home my darling" and these were the words that tore me My eyes saw blue but the heart screamed red; Then i saw myself emitting black. So i went back to the love that's red The love that would cleanse me and leave me in awe But I left another trail broken, leaving blue to bleed Maybe that's why I can't sleep.
