The Cold Breathes
The cold breathes
Down her neck
As she tries to forget
She was warned
She was cautioned
She was stubborn
And didn't listen
Now images
She has fought
So hard to forget
Lay taunting her
Causing absolute regret
He speaks
Startling her
She had forgotten
This cold Friend
"Hello little girl"
He breathes
She shudders
Knowing what comes next
"I see you've called
On me again"
She pulls up her knees
She wants to hide
But when he comes
He is not blind
She looks up warily
His ice blue eyes
Laughingly staring back
"What has it been now?
Almost two years?"
The smell of iron on his breath...
Her stomach turns...
"You see?
You're not adequate
You didn't do it well enough
Yours will fade
Is fading
What was the use
Of ever doing it at all then?"
"I know you want to
Little girl"
"I know you dream about me
Fantasizing about the glorious pain
I bring"
Her body now riddled with
Jerks of tears
"LOOK AT ME!!!"
He grabs her face
Forcing her to stare into
Those eyes...
The eyes ladened
With her demise
"You know you want to
You know you need to
You know how to hide it
You know"
"Now...
Go
Commit
Be worthless
With no regret"
