The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

The Coffee and the Eclair

Sitting on a napkin, so fair -
the cutest chocolate eclair.
The coffee said, "I'm strong.  You're sweet.
How fortunate that we should meet".
A love story with such promise, but....
it ended in my big fat gut.

Thanks, CayCay, but I'm finding its not completely working - writing poems about this stuff just is not as satisfying as actually eating them.

As I think about it, it's ashamed that bakers spend so much time creating works of art, pleasing to the eye as well as the taste bud, and then guys like me, disappear them in seconds, flat.
