The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

The Cocktail Waitress

I want to drink you naked
the same way I would a complex
whisky.
seduce your Wheat
out of a glencairn glass/
nose your acrobatic aroma/
leave my base/
thrill your grains.
you are a
provocative contradiction.
I want to drink you naked
you are my measured
recipe.

A pleasure to read your poetry today Augusto. I will try to come back later this week to read more. I have a spring cold and not up to reading for too long. Have a wonderful week. Love, Carol
