Shh…..! 
Don’t scare them away!
Let us watch this macabre dance
and enjoy the art in rivalry!

A battle between
two champions.
both in the arena,
armed with nothing 
but
teeth and fangs,
stationed immobile 
face to face,
eyes emitting sparks of ire.

A cobra
with spectacled hood wide 
hissing and shrieking, 
spitting fire and fume
and a mongoose 
with bushy tail up.

Who would win
this murderous combat? 

Yet to see!
Golly… gosh!

This is brilliant and i love the flow of this and how seamlessly youve woven words dear sweet valsa! “ hissing and shrieking, spitting fire and fume” excellnt wordplay there. I bet cobra will win? When I was a boy, I remember reading a story about Rikki Tikki the mongoose and Nag and Nagaina, a pair of deadly cobras that pose a threat to the family and the other animals in the garden.
