The Coastline

The Coastline I fell in love with her on a December morning. I stop my truck and I was star struck at her beauty, her power. I walk quickly to her, she was dancing on the shore. Nothing could equal her beauty. I gazed in wonder for hours at her, sitting on the sand. How could I have not escape to her beauty before this day? Now I walk up and down the shore, watching the waves. The beauty of her be-witched my heart. I knew when I left her, I would yearn for her sight. Never be complete till she was dancing my feet again. My love was the Pacific ocean, the peaceful sea. I wish to be with her today. Coyote December 1992

Hi John, I loved this, I can relate, except the Atlantic Ocean is dear to my heart. I can visualize your love and feel the emotion of it.

Hello john from reading this poem i can tell that you like the water. I am the same way. I like all types of water. i wish I was near the water to take a walk along it. I am not near the water now. For me this is sad. Instead i have a picture of a dock on the water. Have a nice evening my friend.

The beauty of the emotional and natural imagery of your stunning poem bewitched my heart, John. A gorgeous write of the dawn of your love affair with the Pacific Ocean. Living on the Massachusetts South Coast, I know the bewitching pull and yearn and love for the ocean - the Atlantic- that you so elegantly and passionately describe. Your words brought me to the shore with.. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
