The Clouds of Autumn Sunshine
Clouds in the air bring the sweet caress of cool Autumn leaves,
Spiders and Butterflies set themselves down to rest in the eternal,
It takes thirty seconds to give a gentle word, or respond in gratitude,
It takes thirty seconds to give a helping hand to a struggling soul,
There is no cost to kindness, and yet kindness alludes us,
But the forgiveness of death and rebirth calls out to another way,
Where we transform the darkness into Autumn Sunshine,
As the clouds caress, I know that one day, the Lord will bring Autumn Sunshine,
And in that moment, Kindness shall reign.
