The Climb of Your Life
Life is like a mountain
As you strive to reach the top,
You can never get there in one go,
On the way you have to stop.
You have to start off slowly,
You have to learn the ropes,
Starting with the small hills
Before you reach the slopes.
If you make it to the base camp
There will be lots of others there.
You will need help along the way,
Or you haven't got a prayer.
So when you think your ready
And everything is right,
The climb of your life is hazardous
So be prepared to fight.
Never forget from where you came,
With all the hardships, and the pain,
All the people along the way
To bring for you, your big day.
