The Climb

The Climb
Up and up we
Climb up the spiral
Staircase.

Each step you take
You curse my
Namesake

Each step I take
Each Moment
I wish someone
Else could
Take my place

When we get
To the top
Look out
At the vista

Watching the ocean
Lick the sugar sand
Coastline

Nothing but
Peace is
On your face.

Climbing the
Lighthouse Was
Not a waste.
