The City Lake
Search along the city sky,
Buildings rise so ever high,
When inclined to take a break,
In the middle lies a lake.
Step inside the city park,
Make a left behind the bark,
Hang a right around the rose,
Along to where the river flows.
Dip your feet along the shore,
So you can feel the river more,
Around the bank, and under stones,
Away from cars and mobile phones.
And when the river comes to close,
You shall see the place you chose,
Is far from work and city street,
And must admit is hard to beat.
