The City

Streaming lights brighten the distance, It’s the vast city of persistence. Tall buildings, thriving Squares Couples, friends, and children all walk in pairs. The bustling sounds of cars and people all amaze me, Even though it all may seem absurd, in some way it is still sane. The Technicolor feelings I receive from such a place are indescribable, For it being such a vast place, I feel at home. Everything rushes past me in a blur, And still these great feelings seem to fill my heart and soul. I walk the skies with my eyes and the sites with my mind, This is just an image that would stay in my mind for a lifetime. I close my eyes for a moment, I still see the epic sightings, I let my ears roam the sounds of dreams at work. The city is indeed amazing from my experience.
